weekend ANTENATAL Classes

Usually held across two saturdays 9am-2pm

Our antenatal classes get you up to speed with everything you need to know for the latter stages of pregnancy, labour, birth and the early postnatal period. You will learn how your body prepares for labour, the options available to you for labour and birth, how to care for yourself postnatally and practical tips for navigating the early days with a new baby. We know that there are many things parents may worry about in relation to their new baby and so we will cover lots of common newborn concerns such as colic, cord care and rashes and explain how to manage them, including an overview of infant first aid.

Each antenatal class instalment is delivered in a relaxed and friendly way with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion. You will be grouped with other parents to be with similar due dates so that you can share the journey together. Many parents who meet through classes such as ours go on to meet regularly during parental leave and make friendships for life.

The classes are usually held over 2 consecutive Saturdays (venue permitting).
